Dramatic dog rescue on Bluffs

There was a dramatic rescue today by Toronto firefighters on the Scarborough Bluffs.

Scarborough Bluffs, at Birch Cliff

A man went over the Bluffs, but he did it deliberately — to rescue his 14-year old dog.

The dog’s eyesight is failing and he tumbled 50 feet down the cliffs.

CTV’s Joel Bowey tells a nice story here about Toronto firefighters stepping up to save a man…and his best friend.

Poor John and Lou!!!! Lou is such a sweet dog, I’m happy he is ok. John sure has had a string of bad luck…flooding a few weeks ago, and now this! Hope all is well from here on in…
