The Photo of the Day for August 16, 2012 is a simple asphalt patch at the south end of Haig Avenue.
What’s important is what’s not in the shot — orange pylons.
City work crews finally got around to repairing this sinkhole last week, much to the delight of Haig residents who’ve been calling and emailing 311 since May.
It took about 2 1/2 months for the sinkhole to be fixed.
