Kingston and Warden is closed to traffic.
Road safety and traffic are top of mind right now for many Birch Cliff residents following the tragic hit-and-run death of Karla Groten on Dec. 21.
There’s also a campaign underway to get a crossing guard on Warden Ave. at Freeman after a 4-year old child was struck at the crosswalk by a speeding van on Nov. 23.
These and other traffic issues will be discussed at a Kingston Rd. Safety meeting that’s been organized by Ward 36 Councillor Gary Crawford for this Thurs. Jan. 18 at 6pm at St. Nicholas Church.
