The weekend is jam-packed with fun and interesting things to do in Birch Cliff and the surrounding area.
The Birch Cliff Public School Fun Fair is being held Sat. June 20 from 11am – 3pm at 1650 Kingston Rd., just west of Birchmount.
There will be games, food, music, face painting and a chance to have your child’s photo taken with Elsa from “Frozen”.
Silent auction items include Jays tickets, tattoo sessions, gift baskets, gift certificates from local restaurants, sports lessons, toys, home brew kits, wine and even a Samsung Galaxy S5.
Play-all-day passes are $20.
Bluffs home and garden tour
Ever wonder what it’s like to live high atop the Scarborough Bluffs?
Saturday’s your chance to find out as the Gates Open Home & Garden Tour will allow visitors to stroll the homes and gardens of eight spectacular properties on the Scarborough Bluffs between 10am and 4pm.
Mayor John Tory and Ward 36 Councillor Gary Crawford will be cutting the ribbon and taking the tour at 10:45am.
Tickets are $30 a person and can be purchased at The Campbell House at 3630 Kingston Road.
All proceeds will go to the Rouge Valley Health System Foundation.
Kingston Road Art Walk & Street Fest
Kingston Road Village (aka The Upper Beach) will be holding its annual Art Walk and Street Fest between 10am and 5pm on Saturday.
The street will come alive from Victoria Park Ave. to Hanford St. with art, music, food and fun for the kids.
While you’re there you may want to check out the art of Birch Cliff’s Sandy Robitaille, a garden photographer whose unique photographs are printed on metal to create a permanent vibrant finish that allows her work to be displayed indoors or out.
All of Sandy’s photos are taken in Birch Cliff. She’ll be located at “Close to the Bone”, on the south side of Kingston Rd., west of Silverbirch.
