Our Photo of the Day for July 30, 2012 features a scene that is all too familiar in Birch Cliff.
We caught up with Judy Foremski as she worked with a restoration crew to fill a rental truck with personal belongings headed for the dump.
This was Judy’s second truckload of garbage from her basement, which flooded with sewage on July 15th.
We’ve added some before and after photos of the Foremski basement.

What Judy finds most heartbreaking is the damage to family photographs. In fact, she’s not throwing them away and hopes to find a way to restore the photographs.
