Canada is 145 on Sunday, July 1 and Scarborough’s Canada Day Parade, started in the country’s centennial year, is still with us.

The 45th annual parade starts at 4 p.m. at the Scarborough Civic Centre just east of Brimley and Ellesmere roads, before heading south on Brimley past Thomson Memorial Park to finish around 5:30 p.m. at David and Mary Thomson Collegiate just west of Brimley on Lawrence Avenue.
